Hello again, Ranger Enthusiast!
I have just bought a used hard top bi-fold tonneau for my ‘05 Ranger Edge. I’m not sure what year this one is but I bought it off a guy who had it in his ‘02 Ranger XLT. It needs some work to say the least. It is a factory ford assembly however. It has a part number and ford stamp but I can’t seem to find a parts illustrated breakdown of this thing. I’m tryin to see what the locking mechanisms originally looked like so I can rebuild it and replace the shotty work that was done on it by the recent owner. Does anyone have photos of how the cable system is supposed to look in conjunction with the latches on both sides ? Also wondering about the mounting points for the gas struts. They really have this the old landlord special when attempting to fix the wear and tear over the years
