Auxiliary lights

Wanting to add these to my truck, wanting them to come on with high beams but also be on with a switch how would I go about this? These should be legal but I can’t drive around with them on in town right?

Legality may vary state by state.

Wiring would be fairly simple with a relay. Connect like this.

Pin 30 > your new lights
Pin 87a > splice into high beam wire
Pin 87 > battery (fused)
Pin 85 > ground or batt negative
Pin 86 > comes from your new switch/12volts

Some states only want high beams on when the high beams are on.

But really if your high beams are on nobody should be in front of you either...

I would make that connection out near the lights. I believe you will find that high beam is LG/BK. Low beam is R/BK.
