Makes me feel better about the time i have spent on this thing lol.
Ok as far as the truck it started off a 1wd wrecked edge. I made it look like a 08 and added full facotry 4wd. I bought a explorer and took everything i needed off of it. Im sure most of yal know the egde has the 4wd frame. I took the factory harness out of the explorer and made a wiring harness out of it for the 4wd and spliced it into the rangers wiring harness. It uses all factory fuses in the central juntion box etc. That was a fun process right there lol. Everything else pretty much bolted up. Had to have a drive shaft made and the tranny rebuilt and switched over fro 4wd. Also had to do some more wiring for the abs and swithc modules. This is why i hadnt been on in a while.
Ok as far as specs
4.88 gears with a lockright in the rear
i have the level 2 front shocks on the front and tbars cranked
On the rear i have a 4 inch block with mx6 shocks
Tires are 33 inch km2s
Front brakes are cross drilled and slotted power stops
I want to add a 4 link to the rear later on for a little more axle protection
I have the dixxon brother racing front bumper with skid plate and the level 2 front skid plate modified to work with the bumper
I went with the tire gate because it was best for me, i couldnt give up my truck bed and i was dragging my spair when i had it under the truck. It didnt chane my departure angle much and beefs up the back of the truck. Also can pick it up with my hi lift.
So its been alot of work but it this thing will go about anywhere now. Its my daily driver also so it get used for a little bit of everything.
