Recovered the armrest with automotive carpet... now it's nice & comfy.
Modded the "tissue" holder area with some abs material to add switches.
Attached the air bag switch to the front part of the driver side of the console & added 2 more outlets.
Modded the rear cover... filled in the vents with abs & added some outlets & usb ports for charging.

Added foot well led's that are activated by the mustang dome light switches.

I have more pics of my new double din head unit as well as my new 4x oem fog switch radio bezel that I'll post when I find 'em.

I do several different led mods & have plug-in led's for almost any application... if anyone is interested, feel free to contact me or check the classified section, I hope to post some of my mods soon.

looks cool! I did the same to replace the lights switch burnt bulb.

Sure wish my truck had lights (or even mirrors) on the visors :fie:

Very clean setup, looks like it almost could have came that way. What is the numerical readouts above the headunit for?

I have stood at the parts store looking at those round toggle switches thinking "what vehicle would these actually fit in"... now I know. :icon_thumby:

Where did you find the USB ports at?

The visors came from a wrecked 98 expo as well as the seats, console & several other parts including the wheels that I totally changed the look of.
Like most everything, I had to led mod the visors to fit in with all the other led stuff inside :D

The little display above the old radio was my voltmeter. I had it connected to a key switched relay so it would come on whenever the truck was running & I didn't need to switch it on/off. I've since re-re-redone the bezel & now it's molded in the bottom area above the hvac controls.

The USB ports came out of an old usb hub that decided to crap out on me. I tore into it & removed the ports & re-wired them into the guts of a cigarette lighter 12v to usb adapter. I rarely use them, but I have some small led flex lights & a charger cable for a blackberry that I use once in a while.
