Just trying to figure out what I should do now that I got the new transfer case in. I got a manual tranny too. Wanted to see if anyone's got pics with what they did, I was thinking of making a custom wooden thing with cup holders and somewhere for the boots to hide.

i know that plumcrazy has got a pretty awesome setup, look in his build thread. you might wanna try your hand with some foam/fiberglass; i also like what jim has done, although he has an automatic its an idea.

i think there are a few examples in the tech section to.

also, walmart sells a center console with 4 cup holders and a lockable section that will hold a 6 pack of beer, it fits snug between the seats, and is almost the perfect size, the cup holders fit any cup ive thrown into them.

i plan to build forward off of this for my design to hold the cb, switches, and misc. other things.

I went from auto trans to manual, and just used some black floor mats and self tapping screws to finish around my shifters. (my former BII)

Not bad elutheros, think I might do that mixed with the walmart console thing and put my cb in the back where the ash tray would be, I already got my small one there but I'm gonna put my cobra 29ltd in make a little more classy haha. Only concern I have is that my year has the airbag module thing right there so without the plastic cover you can see it easy. Won't be hard to figure out a way to cover it even if it's with that floor mat haha

this is any awesome idea... THANK YOU!! my floor plate is all fawked up, from the transmission being taken out like 5 times by the previous owner. i was going to use old licence plates. but this is a much better idea.

a side note on the walmart center console. i bought one with the box open, only to get it home to find out that the toip black piece was broken off. its molded onto the whole piece. im not aware that this is a problem though, as my dad has the same piece and its been in his truck for atleast 6 years. and no problems yet.
