My truck is getting Ricks Rangers front full coil-overs and Chris Alston rear end. This was my previous setup for Track Day-Street budget setup. You can replace your whole front/rear end with this setup for about 2-3 inch drop all around, extremely sporty and confident ride without blowing the bank for custom fabrication. Most parts listed did 3 tracks days about 4 20 minute sessions and a few thousand miles before removal
Will fit front and rear 1983-1987 directly
1988-1992 the front sway bar setup is a bit different
1988-1992 also might need different tie rods into the knuckle since they are different
Parts new with about 5k total
DJM drop beams 1983-1987 energy bushings
1984 knuckles brake setup
NEW bearings and seals, Timken
New brakes and rotors, powerstop re-man
Powerstop Z23 pads best I could find for this setup
New master cylinder for 10”
New brake lines
New Ball Joints top and bottom
New radius arm bushings
Springs mounted are factory 1992 4.0l 4x4 AT with A/C these are the stiffest springs made for a ranger
Hellwigg 1 1/4"front sway bar(STIFF AF) Works wonders! Fits 1983-1987 directly
Rancho 8000 adjustable shocks only 1 track day and about 2k miles on these
KYB shocks 2 track days and 3k
Rear:
Bell Tech drop leaf springs mounts
1.5" drop shackles with energy suspension bushings drop shackles
Rear leaf springs 1996? Ford Edge 3/4"lift from stock 2150lb
Proper pinion leaf spring shims
So overall drop is about 3" after sag
KYB shocks
10” rear drum kit master cyclinder/backing plates, drums
$1000 picked up/meet up San Bernardino County California
