I got the lights put on my rollbar so I went out in my parents pasture to take some pictures of it in the snow, quite a little nature show greeted me.

I pull into place and notice a huge herd of deer in the neighbors yard.

Something chased more of them out, my first thought was a buck but I didn't see one.

There were 7 more in the thicket to the right in the previous two pictures.

Then Cisco has to come over and see what I am up to.

A picture of the back of my lightbar. Two generic heavy duty tractor lights pointing backwards for worklights, and four 100w offroad lights pointing forwards. Two of them are the ones I used to have on my grille guard, I managed to find two more that matched. I have to wire them yet, it turned off pretty cold so I haven't got around to it.

As I stood there taking the picture of the rollbar I heard some clanking, so I looked around, off to my left two bucks were fighting. I have never seen that before and it was pretty neat to watch. We have a decent 8ptr and a fork buck that lurk around, I think it was them as the smaller one was really getting it handed to him. I took a video of it, but I have yet to figure out how to post it.

What I intended to take a picture of.

Cisco admiring my handywork no doubt.

Cisco saw the rest of his herd coming (Windy) and peeled out to greet her, good thing he had traction control to aid in his launch...

Cisco and Windy together, I have since moved the truck closer to the barn.

Windy on her own after running around with Cisco for a little bit, she doesn't look too bad for turning 31 in two months.

Nice. I had a set of those big oval lights on my roll-bar when I had one, my buddy got 'em at Harbor Freight IIRC.

you sure have a nice place to take pics.. good looking horses 2..

I got my original 2 at Wal-Mart, and I got the new ones at HF. The only difference is the older ones say "Rally" on them and the new ones have a blank spot where the "Rally" should be.

that is one nosey horse :icon_thumby:

trucks looking great as usual. definitely one of the cleaner gen 1s around here.

How old is Cisco? And damn he looks real healthy.. Nice truck BTW..

All those deer--you'll need to call in a fire mission.

damn i did not see a single deer this deer season. The lights look great tho. How are you liking the work lights on the back VS the front ones ?? I was thinking of getting some.

That's a nice truck man. What color green is that?

Thanks, it has a little rust, but so far it is mostly limited to the bed. It has been retired from active winter duty to prevent further rust.

Still haven't got them hooked up yet, but I am liking the idea of having some sort of cargo light for the back of the truck.

He is 5 or 6, honestly I am not around them much since they give me hives...

I got a can of "Medium Green" paint for some touch ups at True Value, seemed to be a pretty darn close match.

Actually, since I got layed off I have been spending most of my time at my parents place in Iowa, which is where this was.

What type of camera are you using?

Kodak M753, it does a pretty good job when I get it set up right.

I like the truck... youre pretty lucky to have that kind of wildlife around you. I miss it now living in a more urban area
