The manual said to use a penny and wedge it between the gears to loosen the centrifugal clutch shaft nut(left hand thread)
Well the penny would not hold and kept going through the gears, so I used TWO pennies, and the gear busted.
So come to find out this is the Oil pump gear that busted in half.
Did I damage my oil pump, or will I be okay with a replacement gear?
