So...Apparently a ranger is as bad as a 2 wheel drive offroad.

My buddies are trying to troll me or something and are saying my truck sucks as much as a chebby 1500. trololololol.

I'm not real sure what this is about? lol

if your ranger is open front and rear...but the chevy has a limited slip or locker in the rear, yall both have power going to the same number of wheels/tires. lol

yes but he has street tires and is only running on 5 out of 6 cylinders. it's just a W/T Version so it is probably open. i have L/S in the rear

If it's only running on 5 cylinders, you're friends are right.

Kinda depends, he can ONLY spin 2, a 4x4 can spin 2, 3 or 4 tires depending on how the cookie crumbles. And front wheels count more than rear, it is easier going when they are spinning rather than sliding/pushing mud.

His. Not mine

Yeah, that should make it just about even powerwise. :icon_twisted:

Drag race in the mud. He who has smaller tires should go first unless you have enough room. And videos or it didnt happen.

You aren't doing the engine and stuff any favors beating on a sick tranny.

if own a 4.0 4x4 ranger with a 5 speed.....you have a stronger truck then a chevy 1500 in gmt 400 chassis.

simple as that

if you can easily get by with a 2wd, then a f/s 2wd is superior for most. it has more room for junk and gets similar mpg....easier cheaper maintenance etc.

its all in what ones needs are.

only thing i can bust faster then a gm 10 bolt is a ford 7.5. thats in my normal course of earning a living....but a 4x4 is needed often as well for myself. just cant have only a 2wd.

so not having a context for your comparison i cant really say.
