Is everybody ready my Ranger is well almost gotta finish undercoating. AN oil an filters . I on the other hand Im not ready. Dig out winter stuff need boots etc. The list goes on an on. But its fun wheeling in the stuff. Till you brake an have to go under to fix. OH boy I love to hate winter.

Snowbaording is the only thing I'm excited about.

Snow + Lockers is interesting. :D

I need new tires before it snows here. But I am ready. Bring it on!

New tires and a tow strap and I am set.

I'm not ready at all. I need about 2 months, an extra set of hands and about $12,000 to be where I want to be for winter.

Since the likelyhood of that is about nill, I'd be happy just to be able to get the new rear springs in my F-150, get my ladder rack painted and on the truck with at least one toolbox, replace the windshield, add a locker and get new tires. Or find a beater with a plow...

It started snowing tonight.. I was hoping on having a Subaru by now but I guess I'm stuck with the Ranger until late January. I don't have the money to buy two sets of tires AND a car..

FML!

Well i think the ranger will get one good wash and wax soon! then off with the rims and tires and onto the black steelies, and make sure the 4x4 is ready to go snow wheeling, tow strap is already in the back, to tow or be towed lol...

Bring it on!

its here an im semi ready. nice one allan!

We had a high of 55 degrees here today. It's unusually cold here for this time of year. I hope we actually get snow for more than 2 days here.

Bronco is getting new bumper with tow points and within the next month or so a winch. Then I'll be ready to kick winter's ass!!!

Ben

before the heavy snow comes (we already got snowed on twice), should i lock my manual hubs and keep it in what 4x4 gear? i heard i should to get the bearings moving before I actually need them again.

Also, what should it be in regular driving? And what about when I need 4x4 when I can't get traction on the snow/ice?

hmm well for the most part as long as its snowy and slippery not much for dry tar i just leave my trucks hubs locked in but roll around 2WD and dont shift it into 4WD unless i need it.
