Snoranger’s 2023 Ranger Lariat Tremor

Lever?
We’re not talking about manual seats here.
I forgot you guys were so fancy haha. But my peasant mode has a lever that jacks the seat up and down.

I haven’t tried to adjust the seat in a lower model truck, but the power seat in mine can go up and down too. The bottom feels like it’s slightly higher toward the back. These shims go under just the front mounts and tilts the seat base back a little.
I’ve made shims like this for most of my vehicles for ever. I like the seat base tilted back on long drives and most vehicles don’t tilt enough in my opinion.

Well some people just have no taste haha. And it not grey. It's Magnetic Metallic haha. And I think their Bronco actually has grey in the name. Catus Grey I believe. A color for people who can't pick between Grey and Mint Green hahaha

Mine is Magnetic as well. I didn't care for the other colors available when I ordered the truck and I didn't want that ugly orange they were offering.

My drivers seat in my mustang had an electrical adjustment base. I always had the nose of the base tilted all the way down and the back pretty far up, and it sat close to level.

I agree, having the base of the seat reclined too much is not very comfortable.

I haven't messed with the seat in a while. I will see, but I think it raises the platform evenly. So you would still need the shims to recline the base any. I've got it where I like it and Noone else ever drives it so I hadn't adjusted it in years probably except reclining the back for nap time in the pick up line at Zanes school haha

I thought that the ranger seats were extremely comfy at the angle they have..

Infinitely better than a taco at least.. Seat jackers are an absolute must with those damn things.

If only there was a way to not need to charge batteries everyday…

I know right. Like, it would be cool if there was a localized power source, with a portal that we could some how tap into, with maybe a junction on an extension of some sort, from the tool to the power source. the only limitation would be how long the junction extension for the portal is. :icon_rofl:

When I put a passenger seat in the drivers side location of my ‘94 I felt it was angled back a little too far, I found longer bolts for the rearmost track to floor mounts and stacked a couple of 1/2 nuts between the seat track & floor. Made for a more comfortable position.

I bought my seat lifters from Skyjacker and BFG
Mine are from Ready-lift and Nitto at the time haha
Truxxx and Cooper for mine.
My wife, my mother, and my new knee are all wishing I'd got the lowering kit instead right now.
I have a poverty-spec truck also, seat bottom is all the way down and up a little in the front, but I'm tall.
Had to switch vehicles with the wife yesterday to take the dog to the vet and I'll admit I was liking the heated seat and steering wheel in her minivan when it was 18 degrees in the morning.
