after i shift and press the gas a loud grind comes from the trans or t-case. happens sometimes also when going over bumps or turning. no problem with clutch or shifting. just when a load is applied. any help would be great.

i would say maybe throwout bearing now engaging all the way but that is just a guess ..

It's a sort of growling noise as you accelerate?

Likely you are upshifting at too low an rpm
causing a "lug rattle" from the trans
