Silly people...

As for a Porche, they're nice, but... meh.

This was made in 1996 though, I'd pay 65K for it.

(wish I could find a decent smaller pic)

Posting a car in Detroit craigslist when it's in Toledo( there is a Toledo craigslist)
PLUS he removed the cats. silly people are silly, plus who'd pay 65k for a car...from 1996.

A lot of people advertise in different states and cities, Bro. Nothing wrong with that. I had a few MGB's and Triumph TR6's and Porsche's. They all brought in good money years later since I take good care of all my stuff.

i'd much rather have a nice ranger and a house then a Porsche.

Id also be concerned with the new windshield and fenders just repaainted. Probably in an accident. Idk what blue book on those is, but they're nice cars. The only vehicle from 96 id pay that much for would have to have $55k in engine and chasis work.

When you're selling a $65,000 dollar Porsche, you're audience is pretty small - and they will also have the means to travel and transport a vehicle. He's just reaching out further than his local circle.

NOW that said, I have no clue what it's actually worth.

Thats definately a nice Porsche, I don't know about 65K maybe 50K but I don't look at the value of higher end cars.

But I agree I would drop 65K for that GT/R provided I was rich. lol I love the look of that car!

I agree.

The local Ford dealer got in a GT thinking it would be fun to peddle, it ended up going on a car hauler to Las Vegas or somewhere like that. They had people coming from all over to look at it, including a couple exporters.

Porsches are neat cars, I don't know I would buy one at any price... they are so stinkin' little.

I paid $3,200 for my 72 911S. It needed one valve cover gasket and the carbs adjusted. I bought it in 1985 with only 18,000 miles on it. I sold it in 2002 for $28,000 to a collector in Sebring where I used to race it on vintage SCCA race days. It was a rare one indeed (race version, no backseat, ducktail spoiler, and 285 hp). If somebody wants something they will pay for it. That guy will get good money for that Porsche.

Yup but I as most of the others on this forum just don't feel the same allure of what boils down to a nice engine in a tiny car. Sure it goes fast but anything 400 hp engine in a miata will go just as fast lol. Anyways someone will pay his price to to be able to say they drive a Porsche. To each their own:dunno:
