I've gotten through some serious crap with my rangers.
My 99 XLT 4x4, I launched that thing into a pit of mud with a flat right rear tire, the 4 wheel wasn't working, and the mud was 3/4 of the way up the tires. Made it out though. The same truck, once I had put my 31 AT's on it and alcoas, I used it for junkyarding alot. Took it to a backwoods junkyard, and found me a DOVE 460. Only problem is that it was really in the woods, and was about 1500 feet on the other side of a trench of mud and swamp. I took the truck, got through it in 4 low, got the tractor to put it in the back of the truck. It was fully dressed, complete motor. It made the back of the truck almost sag onto the ground. But I got through all the mud and muck, and drove back home 20-30 miles away. It must of squat 2 feet lol.
My 97 XLT 2wd 5spd 2.3 gokart truck I threw that into about 3 feet of water. It's on 40 dollar cheap stock radial tires and is just stock. Water went up over the windshield, into the bed, pretty fun. I had a girl in the truck with me at the time. It was raining like hell, I wasn't going to stop to go around, and so I just ran into it lol.
My current truck, well I haven't gotten to do anything with it yet. It's probably the most capable of all of them, but I have a few issues as it sits that I need to work out, so no sense in getting it stuck while its potentially broke.
