Should I Undercoat ?

Same invite to Carlisle if you are able to make it. Select The Ranger Station in the drop-down for clubs on the registration page. It does not cost extra. We need at least 15 this year to guarantee the tent for next year.

Cool, and thank you! I made an appt at that exact Ziebart, I am getting a spray in Rhino Liner and did talk to them about rust proofing and undercoating. while the other info here is awesome and i appreciate it, and i will look further into it, i know for a fact i could not do the undercoating stuff myself. not that I am incapable but getting up there and needing 2 new knees and some other things will preclude me form being my younger self who WOULD do this!

You are cordially invited to the Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA on June 6-7.
On the online registration form go to the drop-down for clubs and select The Ranger Station (we are the only Ranger club listed), we will have a club tent in the Ranger area.
I bring my tent and camp but it's an easy enough day trip from Pittsburgh if you just want to come on Saturday.
The highlight for me is the Starsky & Hutch Torino Club.

Personally, I wouldn’t do the Ziebart undercoating, but that’s your choice.

I do like the Rhino Liner spray in bedliner when it’s done right though, it’s great stuff.

In addition to spray-in bedliners, Line-X shops do undercoating too. That's what my Ranger has is Line-X.

Ziebart used to be considered something of a gold standard decades back, but not now.

Yeah.. whatever you put on for undercoating.. make sure it either STAYS WET or is wax based.

If ziebart still uses rubberized stuff.. cancel that appointment.

Cool, thanks for the ideas and help again. I may just do the bediner now, and see who can do some of this other type of undercoating or rust proofing you all have suggested.
