I've been looking for a winter truck for a while and finally decided to look into the Ford Bronco II line. So, I looked for them listed in my area and found one that was pretty close.
It's a 1990 Ford Bronco II
2.9L V6
5 Speed Manual
128,000 miles
30x10.50 R15 Tires
Auto Locking 4x4
Pwr Windows, CD player, good heat
Final Price -$900
Okay so while I'm test triving it, it feels like it is pulling something. I was forced to give it a lot of gas and let the clutch out slowly just to get started. I was pretty sure it was the rear brakes that were a little stuck. The farther I go, the harder and harder it becomes to move. At one point, I was traveling 25 miles per hour in second gear at 3500 RPM's just to keep her moving! I got back to the guy's place and immediately knew it was the front brakes sticking. The rims were coated in brake dust and smelled really really burnt. They guy said he had a shop put a new master cylinder in and that it pay need some adjustment. He said if I buy it, we can take it to a shop and have them fix it and he'll cover the bill. I am thinking of asking him if he finds out it's $200 to fix, then we'll buy it and take that off the price and I'll fix it myself!
Well, what do you guys think???
