Should I buy this Bronco II???

id buy it. i think that a fair price especially if u can get it for 700 and fix it yourself.

1990 is the best year for a BII.

It may have a D35 front axle (count the bolts on the front diff. 10 is golden)
Being a 5 speed, it may have the M5OD trans (code M on the trans ID sticker inside the door)
A 4.0 is a plug-n-play swap
A 4.0 in a 5 speed BII= WooHoo! :D

I just heard back from the guy who is selling the BII. He took it to a mechanic and said that he adjusted the master cylinder and the brakes are all okay now. I guess I can't get it for cheaper, but I still feel like $900 isn't too bad of a price. Should I still go for it then?

check to see how bad those brakes work now since they might have been damaged test drive it again and if its all good i would get it

Well after the test drive. I bent down to look at the brakes (in the begining I thought it was the rear brakes that were sticking) and noticed a TON of brake dust on the front rims. The rims were scortching hot and the smell of burning brakes was in the air. I looked through the rims and saw that the rotors were already pretty grooved. I was thinking of going ahead and replacing the brakes anyways...it couldn't hurt.

My dad, my grandpa, and me are going to take a better look on Saturday and possibly buy her :yahoo:

take it home, i would! lots of potential there. ditto on the upgrade to manual hubs!
