Not really. I have a 3.2 SHO out of an Automatic 95 SHO in my dune buggy ( hence my screen name) and it runs just fine with the EECIV that came with it in the car. Here it is when I had a Roots style Eaton supercharger bolted to it. Had great bottom end with it; didn't need to feather the clutch at all, just drop the loud pedal and hold on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG16m2e4O6I She now has a turbo on her and while the turbo does give her more torque per pound of boost, I miss the low end grunt of the Eaton.
The SHOStar had the complete SHO drivetrain, including the subframe with the engine, transaxle, axles, hubs, rotors, calipers and struts, bolted right to the WindStar's front end.

Holy old thread batman, but on a strange note i just got a windstar today for $375. I have other plans than the SHOstar at the moment.
