Which means the hard part is wiring, which the wiring is not impossible. The reason you don't see this topic come up often or see people swapping them is SHO's are not too common, parts are harder to find, and it is more difficult than a 5.0, and doesn't offer much in the way of room to grow. Personally, I'd never even consider such a swap. I'd stick with a 4.0 OHV for a 4x4, and a 2.3t or 5.0 for a 2wd.
I really don't see what you are getting at, the swap is obviously entirely possible, it's just that there are much better options, unless you just want to be REALLY different - which is not always a good thing... $$$
