He hasn't talked to her since...... and as before stated, he just got new tires on it and headed straight there after stopping by my house to armorall and hose around the rockers on her side.

If a girl is so shallow she can't bear to ride in a truck that cost 750 dollars but is in perfect mechanical shape.... who needs her. It was at night, the ac would have taken it from comfortably warm to arctic cold if it'd been on.

Me and him made a pact to always do our first dates in the b2's and to never sell them or forsake them over any woman.

i dated a girl in college that really impressed me by sticking around after she rode in my 280Z. It was my only car at the time, had no a/c, was loud as hell, leaked exhaust into the car through the hatch seals, and was 3 different colors.

However, it was my only car. If I had a nice new vehicle and took the 280Z on what was supposed to be a "fancy" date, I would expect her to get pissed. Girls put a lot of work into the way they look getting ready for a date, and it's disrespectful to disregard that. She probably spent at least an hour, probably two getting ready - would it have been too much to go home and pick up another vehicle? Save the Bronco II for an appropriate occasion, like going out to the lake or something.

If you can't be bothered to put as much effort into it as she does, then expect a girl that's not going to give a crap about putting herself together, and will probably let herself go and get fat in 5 years.

He also said his brother got a sandwich to go. I don't know of a single "classy" place in the whole country with a sandwiches to-go menu and I have traveled ALOT. Of course my standards may be higher for restaurants. Apparently her standards are higher as well.

Well--when I got married my uppity wife rode with me in a 1964 Galaxie pulling a Uhual trailer from Iowa, to Washington State and down the Pacific highway to San Diego. It was an experience.

Now that she makes a couple hundred grand a year these many years later--I can forgive her if she refuses to get within artillery distance of my B2--which is, in fact, filled with mice. At least they bail out when I start the engine.
