While I think that it shouldn't matter what you drive, you should at least make the effort to wash your vehicle and make it smell better... doesn't matter if you're driving a POS 1970's Chevy Pickup, it makes it look better to have the thing cleaned up.

well, If you drive something like I do the mud actually makes it look better. It's not personal opinion, I get comments about how nice it looks when it's dirty, not so much when clean...
I keep the inside clean and it smells nice. If you don't like how it looks or smells and you bitch while riding in it I will gladly pull over and let you out so you don't have to deal with it. You don't like what I drive then you better find someone else. I'm not going to change anything I'm happy with to make you feel special, I've always been that way.

I'm on her side. You said that he was taking her out to a "classy dinner", and it sounds like she dressed up for it, which means he told her before-hand. She was probably all excited, and then he showed up in his mud-truck with no a/c. Two things can happen there. One, she sweats, which ruins her make-up. Two, she opens a window, and probably ****s up her hair. I can't be positive here, but I know that most chicks don't like it when they go to a lot of effort for you, and then you appear to have gone to none for them.

He had nicer trucks, he should have used one of them. If he wanted to take her out in the B2, he should have chosen a more suitable occasion, and told her ahead of time.

It seems to me that her reaction might have been a bit too strong, but it sounds like he was being a dick. Just my two cents.
