Shape of things to come?

Take a look at the new up-coming 2020 Subaru Baja. Looks identical to the Ford...or does the Ford look like the Baja ?

New Baja? Uh oh. My wife will want that.
Got a link?

It was supposed to be a 2020, but it's been delayed. It's based on the Ascent, so larger than the Baja based on the Outback/Legacy platform.
Tell your wife to keep her bloomers on...it's in the works.
For info, my wife is on her 4th Outback, a 2018 Touring model with all the bells and whistles. And I'm on my 4th, a 2013 Crosstrek that is my daily driver and that we tow behind our motor home.
Have a total of over 500,000 miles accumulated on all of them since our first in 1995, and have never had one break down.
Just google up 2020 Subaru Baja.

That thing is a mid-engined, tube chassis race truck with heavily modified bodywork, built by an aftermarket shop. It's awesome. But I don't think there's anything more to it than that.

Yeah, I agree with @stmitch if ford was gonna put a V8 in the ranger or v6 there is no legitimate reason why they haven't offered it yet.

Because ford's legacy is making dumb decisions with regard to the Ranger?

I placed a bet back when the US Ranger reboots started rolling off the production line. Ford loves their 3.5 EcoBoost so much it's in everything from their sedans to their workhorse vans to the Ford GT. I bet one Honda Civic ($500) that the V6 would be in a Ranger from the factory before 2025.

I'm still keeping those fingers crossed.

How much do you want to bet they won't offer the gen5 in a manual?!

Actually they have for a very long time... just not in the US.

They don't even offer a manual in their Super Duty trucks anymore. Why would they offer one in the "lesser" grade trucks?

OH, super doody is absolutely still available in manual trans.... Everywhere EXCEPT for the he USA.

If mine had a manual, I'd drive it. The auto makes it undrivable.

After I have it crushed, I've thought about shipping to Ford with a note saying thus attached to it.
