Seat Covers - I can't decide if I am happy or not

I'm curious what opinions are on style and color.
I originally thought I'd pick blue, but then that didn't seem like a good pick for the grey interior... of course, they didn't have a grey base color option, it was black, blue, tan, or burgundy. Now I'm not so sure about the black choice. I'm also not the most huge fan of the border material, it's a stretch sort of neoprene material. What do you guys think? By the way, they are CoverKing, bought through RealTruck. they fit really well, but they made the console cover wrong, so I'm waiting for them to make a replacement and ship to me. What do you guys think? They do fit tight, they don't move or slide around at all... maybe I just need time to accept the change I dunno.

This is kind of throwback thing for me. When I was a kid, every truck we had, pickups, grain trucks, even cabbed tractors all had saddle blanket seat covers on them after they got ratty and torn. My wife insists that these seat covers are the ugliest thing she's ever seen hehe. I would have been happier if it was wider and went all the way to the edges though. I'm just not sure yet about the black color

They look fine to me. I'm not picky. I just don't like ratty torn seats with the foam falling out.

Not sure I would have picked those but they look like they fit really well which is important, a lot of the cheap covers I’ve seen don’t really fit well and end up moving around.

I hear you on the saddle blanket seat covers, I like them on the old vinyl seats, the. You don’t stick to the seat in the summer and the seat isn’t a block of ice in the winter, plus they take abuse well.

I bought these about 9-10 years ago when I bought my 2011. Seems a little more like what you are looking for.

At the time they seemed like the best option because it was hard to find seat covers for the 60/40 split. They were not cheap.

They held up well, the only complaint I have is the side flaps for the airbags always open up.

Recently I bought some “Mexican blankets” from a truck stop called Onvo for $15 each. Seems like every Onvo sells these blankets.

They are pretty large and work well as seat covers. Red one is in an ‘03 Ranger. Yellow one is in an ‘11 F250.

I've seen this type of cover in many different styles, but they're all pretty expensive at $200+. It would almost be worth it to see if you can find some of the blanket you like and reupholster the seats.

We have cover king on my wife's 2019 wrangler and I don't really like them. They don't fit as well as the carhart in my truck, or the carhart on my previous truck.


I like the design you have though. I always liked saddle blanket covers and had them in lots of previous trucks on the vinyl bench seats.
