I live in a small town, so I was actually surprised to see one the other day. As I recall, it was a white crew cab. I didn't see what trim level it was, but it sure looked like a nice truck.

I've thought about going to our local Ford dealer (we do have one!) to have a look at the new Ranger, but if I can't afford to buy one, what's the point?

One of my guys just got one. It is a nice truck, but not the price.

??Nothing is wrong with a little "Window Shopping" ??

I saw my first one a week ago today on my drive home from work... blowing down the tollway. I seen the "RANGER" across the tailgate and did the slow roll up beside him to check it out. He wasn't paying much attention to the road due to him fumbling around with all the buttons. When he finally noticed me... I gave him a thumbs up... to which he pointed at my truck and then gave me a thumbs up.

It will take some time for the new Ranger to grow on me...

Besides (stated) towing capacity, id put a 1st gen 2.9/4x4 against a new ranger for flat out off road worthyness, load carrying, and general ability to take an ass whoopin.

The biggest reason I’m interested in the 2019 is the Supercrew cab. I need more than and supercab to haul family and friends. Unless it’s someone I don’t like, then I’m more than happy to make them sit in a jump seat.

Or better yet drive themselves. :icon_idea:

Kinda hard to make a 14 year old drive themselves and I think the girlfriend might object to it as well.

That would complicate it, I was thinking more like a coworker.

I've seen two now. A black supercab sport, and saw a white one today. Pretty sure it's the same white one that i saw at the dealership. I'm interested in one because an f150 is too large. I wont be able to afford one for another 5 years or so anyways. Maybe there will be more affordable options by then.

I don't think vehicles will be getting any cheaper any time soon unless you snag a used one.

I meant on my End, when I can afford a payment. Got about 3 years left on the Sonata and that's about when my oldest daughter turns 16.

I’m not sure that if I saw one I would notice.

I have not seen any out on the open road but the only ones that I have seen is at the local dealership. I do like them but I doubt that I will buy one brand new as they are to high price wise for myself.
