im looking to do a sas in my bronco II and I was wondering which would be the best choice...im probably never going to go bigger than 38s. Also what would be the easiest to use for instance ive heard people using dana 30's from a jeep and not having to narrow anything.

Go full width, you know you want to.:thefinger:
I sure as hell wouldn't run 38's on a D30.

Here's mine on 38.5's

well of course i wouldent do that lol...and that looks really good. what did you take the axle out of? and what is it?

d30 is out of the question for your uses...

d44 full width, or narrow it. if i'm rocking 38s i want full width! lol. so go full width.

leafs or RA's and coils?

yea i wouldn't run a d30. what would i get the d44 from bc i just cant get any d44 right? and RA's and coils

get a set of matching axles from a 77-79 1/2 ton ford. grab the axles and radius arms and track bar and all the brackets just swapped them in my 89 and it was cake you must use a driverside drop diff. go high pinion the fords had the dana 44 and ford 9" combo

Foa coilovers and custom Y link radius arms right??? Lol

well of course i wouldent do that lol...and that looks really good. what did you take the axle out of? and what is it?

What is it?....It's a BII, man.:thefinger:

My axles are from a 78' F-250. High pinion Dana 44 front, with Alloy 4340 Chromoly shafts, 5.13 Yukon gears and carrier, and a lockright.
Full float Dana 60 rear, Alloy 4340 Chromoly shafts, 5.13 Yukon gears and carrier.

Here are a bunch of full width SAS BII's I cataloged a little while back. Enjoy.:D

Well good luck with that. There aren't that many FW SAS BII's out there and there are even fewer on 33"s. If they are available then run them, or sell them and get something bigger.

D'cheat's will be on 43"s

not to get off the subject but jester how do you like the lockright in the front just put one in mine can't wait to get my swap done and try it out!

no i knew it was a bronco II lol i was wondering what axle...and i got a lockrite in the font and i like it. works good when i blow out the rear drive shaft and one front hub

tell ya, custom radius arms w/ johnny joints.. and foa coilovers. link the rear w/ the foa's. you'll be glad you did! lol

I run a 79 F150 D44 High Pinion up front. Its full width with radius arms and there are a ton of aftermarket goodies for this axle! The rear... well we wont talk about that right now :bawling:

As for the coilovers.... SKIP THE FOA's!!!! You get what you pay for, get the Fox or King's. I have 14" FOA reservoir coilovers on my dune buggy. They have been in twice for leaks and are now leaking again! Its getting old that they wont last a single season without a leak or problem.

idk, i've drove several jeeps out here w/ foa's that are awesome setups... and i know dave's had his a good amount of time w/ no issues. so has danny... so idk. maybe they are just lucky

screw it, just get the fox or king's. but i've seen good luck w/ foa's to.

Well im gonna look for an f150 d44 first and go from there. I would of just kept the ttb but i keep having issues with it.
