SAS using FSB 3" springs?

Tried searching but nothing came up.
Has anyone done an sas with full size bronco 3" wide rear leaf springs?
Thinking of using them front and rear on a 2nd gen explorer sport with d60/10.25 axles.

Any thoughts on their performance verses a 2.5" spring? I would think the narrower spring would be better, but with the overloads removed I'm hoping they still provide decent flex.
