Hi Everyone, I have a 2005 shortbed, 2wd Ranger with the 3.0V6 and 5-speed auto. It is very plain jane but at least it has A/C. It has been a great and reliable vehicle. I bought it new and now it has 160,000 miles on it. I drive it 80 miles each day on my commute. I was thinking about replacing it but it's paid for and I know its history, so I'm going to keep it instead and look at some mods and improvements that will make it better and keep me interested. The only change I've really made to it is swapping the nicer looking alloy wheels from my wife's old Explorer when we sold it. It really dresses it up. Otherwise, it is completely stock right down to the factory am/fm radio!
I especially look forward to viewing the tech library to see what can be done with the 3.0 engine. It seems to be a fine and solid performer, just not much in the way of brute force, lol. Anyway, I look forward to seeing what is here and meeting some of you. Thank you.
