Running rich/cats glowing red/runs like crap!!!!!!

Check the ECT(engine coolant temp sensor)if the truck water temp is lets say 190 degrees and the ECT is showing 100 degrees then computer is throwing in extra fuel(rich running) because computer thinks its still cold.You will have to put a scanner on it to read data stream.

@ Bird: I think I'll try to swap the o2 sensors, there is a good chance they got switched. Thanks for all the feedback guys...Its been a while since I've worked on it(gave up on it soon after my last post) but its time to get back on it I'll play with it and post my results.

Switching the O2 sensor wires seemed to do the trick. I took it for a short test drive and ran great! although it has done this in the past where it runs good for a while then craps out but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
