Just curious to find out if rough country ever redesigned there lift bracket or went with a lighter ppi spring? I have yet to find a thread that this topic was followed up on.

Also any one know of a place to get a decent drop bracket? The skyjacker one is like 300$ might still buy it.

If you call them it would be quicker. Give them a call.

Well I thought I would ask here cuz I knew 4.0b2 had a buddy that works with them he was talking to about the whole deal. This way someone could use the search function and get the answer I'm looking for.

They have. The coils are still ridiculously harsh though. Piece a kit together. It'll cost more but it's so worth the money. I wouldn't actually bother to lift it if you dont use longer radius arms anyway.

Yeah I was going to piece a kit together with long arms.

just remember you get what you pay for. the skyjacker is worth the extra money IMO. i have never been a big fan of rough country lifts.

It is a little stiff, other than that, I have been happy with my lift from RC

Was going to buy the RC lift and swap out the coils. Going with extended arms later. This is why I was asking if they changed there parts.

let me talk to Ryan and get the exacts.
Hold Please... lol

edit: I just sent a shout out to him... he's probably off for the day though. He won't have the exact number if he's not still at the shop.

I'm pretty sure they are not redesigning the drop "bracket" again.. it's gonna be the plate for the cost reasons... They want to keep the cost where it is.

The plate is rounded off well enough that I hadn't managed to damage my pumpkin even smashing into a mud pit and bottoming out very hard.

Once I installed duff brackets I saw what I paid for. I also noticed the alignability should be greater because the plate will set the axle cocked to the rear. It has full clearance like stock yet is beefier.

If you have the $500, and just want to bolt on, get a superrunner steering setup from superlift. It's worth it. Solved all of my problems.

Planned on going the distance with the d35 lift. So the super runner kit is on the list. What coils? I was thinking eb 3.5? Truck doesn't get driven but to the trail

I think it's a 23" free length 320ppi EB coil to get the 5-6" lift I have now. It'll let you actually use bump stops, hehe.

The deaver spring packs that Duff sells will let you flex out, but they are damn well pricey.

And again I'll vouch for the superrunner, it may not be much, if any stronger than stock, but the design is pretty good and bolts on in about an hour when the old parts come off easy. It uses all existing holes. I have pretty much no bump-steer or poor handling.

Yes.
To all that. Lol

Ryan messaged me back...

They have not touched the kit and won't be touching the kit, it's not a big enough seller for them I think. Idk. But they are still stiff and will forever be stiff I guess.
