A few years back I went to Utah to have a set of Rock Sliders mocked up for my truck. Anyway I just visited the web site of the company that used my truck as a prototype and noticed that they are now marketing those sliders to the general public. I have been very happy with mine. If you are in the market, you should check them out and let them know that you appreciate their support of the Ford Ranger. At the very least, you can see a few pictures of my truck at the very beginning of the transformation. The attached link below will take you to the Ford Ranger page:

Ford Ranger rock sliders, rocker protection

Enjoy!

Good looking kit, kinda pricey though. Nice to see some available, i had to customize a DIY tacoma kit for mine.

I agree, it is nice to see some support for our trucks. I believe that the price is for a powder coated set. I have the super sliders, but the basic set would do the job.

very nice wo made/makes your pre runner bar?

Wow, I love that site. They have everything needed to get your ranger from stock to just about ready for anything. Lockers, winches (GOOD PRICES), full ARB winch bumpers (buy the winch, get free shipping on it), the rock sliders. Even snow plows. Not trying to advertise but just sayin.... WOW.

A friend and I made it. I will probably be trying to sell it within the next few months since I want one that incorporates a skid plate.

A buddy of mine works for them, their shop is only about 20 minutes away from where I live. I've been to their shop, they're a bunch of cool guys! And pretty good fabricators

Only a possibility here, but if i recall correctly, you can put any year ranger, 98+ included, on any year frame. Therefore, so long as you have an X-cab, you should be fine. Although I don't know if they tuck up quite as nice.... Can anyone confirm?
