ok, so i'm doing an order from Rock Auto, for the parts that i have defiencies, and since i figure it's 25$+ for shipping for 1 item, and about a dollar for each additional item, it's best to get a bunch... my truck is at 96,200km so it's getting close to a "major service" according to ford, the tires have been rotated, oil, differentials, transmission and transfercase have all been drained and re-filled, what am i missing from this list, that i should tack on?

also, i'm only ordering things that will ship from the same location, which is why i am not getting a replacement O2 sensor (mine is throwing codes)

list:
-MOOG Part # K80068 Control Arm w/Ball Joint
Frt Susp; Upper; RH; 4WD; 1 piece design; Incl. bushings (problem solver)

-Air Filter
AUTO EXTRA Part # 61946253 (quantity of 4, because they are $5)

-Fuel Filter
WIX Part # 33424 {#G9343} (quantity 1)

-Differential Cover Gasket
FEL-PRO Part # RDS55341 Rear Axle; 10-bolt holes; Visteon 8.8" R.G. (quantity 1, don't need it, but i figure i should hold onto it for next time)

anything else i should grab while i can?

Prolly wouldn't hurt to grab an extra oil filter, serpentine belt, mybe head tail lights, and turn signals. Never hurts to have enough spare parts I always had extrs bulbs with me just in case. Belts are always good too they can break without notice.

i won't worry about the oil filter, i get my oil changes at the dealership, it's cheaper there than at home, and they do it in an hour...

i'll take a look for the belt for sure though, that's a good idea! i've got extra bulbs already

edit: belt added, $17.06 now all i have to do is call a local parts store, to make sure that these parts are not more expensive, on rock auto, than they are here in town... SHOULDN'T be, but you never know...

there's lots of things i would like to have in stock, for if i need them, but i don't really have the room... the belt should be replaced at around 100,000km so that's why i'm grabbing it... my oil pan gasket, is not currently leaking, and i don't have any plans in the near future to replace it for any reason, i'll deal with a leak for a while before i do it, wheel bearings are good, the rear were just done at the dealership i believe... along with both hubs replaced when i bought it (again, i think) brakes are all new, replaced in the last few months, shocks are bilsten, and i don't want to replace them, they are solid though, and no coil springs (torsion bars)

belt tensioner... is that maybe what this noise is? (brb with video)

also, i called 2 parts stores, one of the, beat the other's prices by almost $5 on every part, (or more) including the 15$ air filter and it is still $317.94 for all of the things i am ordering from rock auto, which my order comes to $175.58 with shipping

anyone in canada who has ordered from them before, do they cover the duty charges, or am i stuck with that on the end? i know when i got my tires from tire rack.com, they covered it and i didn't have to deal with it...

i hve a rockauto discount code if your interested. its 5% off. i have a thread about it if ya wanna search for it.

I'm not sure how bad rust is in hell, but it ate my radiator mount. I know I need to order one... Extra bolts too for random spots on truck...

anyone know if the PCV should be changed on the sohc, regularly, or....

can anyone comment on that video?

*edit* never mind, i found that no PCV from the place that has the rest of the parts, so for the $7 part, there's like $36 in shipping...

how do you clean it? i remember the old ones, on like my mustang, were like 4$ and wasn't worth it to do anytihng but replace

pcv will be fine for another 60 000 km then...

i'm most worried about the video, does that sound like a tensioner?
