Ripped off

I had my bro inlaw order it through his work, he is a diesel mechanic. I just gave him the part number and he did it for me. And plus he called Tuff country and they said coils dont come with the kit anymore, but it says nothing about that on the website, or anywhere. But if anyone has an old set of 4 inch lift coils, it would be nice if they could sell them to me please. Thanks

check "for sale" threads i think there was a couple still on there.

Bill of Materials

2) Coil Springs, 2) Axle Pivot Brackets, 2) Radius Arm Brackets, 2) Swaybar Drop Brackets, 1) Cam-bolts and washers, 4) U-bolts, 1) Brake line extension bracket, 2) Rear Add-a-leafs, 1) Hardware bag

sure seems like there should be springs there.... get on the phone yourself and find out first hand.

if you gotta buy coils, WHICH YOU SHOULDN'T, but some jeep coils... something that flexes... unlike those dumb ttb lift springs.

Hope you get this sorted out real quick! I was going to get this same kit, but ran across a better and cheaper option thru a member on here. As far as i knew, it had came with everything you needed. And it does even show the springs in their picture. Definately call them up and have them send the missing peices out, or pay for u to send it back and a new set be shipped.

And if it is really discountinued, they need to make a new add lol

Stick them with false advertisement if the kit really no longer includes coils, say their picture is misleading and they don't have a disclaimer beneath it saying that the picture may not represent the final product.

Did you find anything out or made a decision what are you going to do?

Either way I would rasie some hell about it and try to send it back and get your money. That business doesn't need your money if they are treating you like this.
Is there a link to the better business buearu I would look in it.

I think if and when I decide to buy a lift for my explorer I am going through James Duff..........yes I know they are pricy but at least they give a shit about their customers.....

piecing together your lift is the best way actually..
it can be done cheaper than buying the JD lift

That is true, but all the running around looking part by part can be a pain besides I might be doing a sas instead of putting a lift kit in......I'm not sure what I want yet:dunno:

lol i bought the RC kit, bought stuff to swap out for better, then realized i want to sas it... so... pick sas and be done! lol

Yeah well its too late now, i called them and had a few choice words, they were gonna charge me 100 bucks to send it back. I mean why would you have a lift kit without coils? stupid...

so now what was the actual result?

And legoms013 u were right, i called suspension connection and they said its 454 with coils. I might just send it back for the 100 and order it from suspension connection then i will have coils. I really just wasted 100 bucks then though.. damn
