Ripped off

I ordered that tuff country 4 inch lift kit, when it came it didnt have coil springs in it. So i called them to see what happened and they told me that they dont come with coil springs anymore. Okay, so i look at coil springs for a 4 inch lift, and they are 145 on summit. I originally wanted to spend 600 bucks on lift and shocks but its gonna be around 700 bucks. On the website it doesnt say anything about it not coming with coil springs. And they charged me 550 for the lift plus shipping. if you look it says that it is 460 i think. i dont think shipping would have been 90 bucks...I think i got screwed over. Anyone have any suggestions?

If I were you I would send it back and demand your money back.

Did you use any parts yet? Sounds to me like false advertisment........and who did you order from? Damn I think they are screwing you over.

Its 100 bucks to send it back. No i didnt use any parts yet. Nothing. And i didnt even order it with a pittman arm and it was still that much. I just ordered the pittman arm from james duff. If i knew it was gonna be that much for the lift, or even that it didnt come with springs i would have went with skyjacker.

So they charged you that much for brackets and shocks and lift blocks? That all should be probably around 300 tops bought individually with out pitman arm and coils.

I had my bro inlaw order it through his work, he is a diesel mechanic. I just gave him the part number and he did it for me. And plus he called Tuff country and they said coils dont come with the kit anymore, but it says nothing about that on the website, or anywhere. But if anyone has an old set of 4 inch lift coils, it would be nice if they could sell them to me please. Thanks

This is the kit. It even says something about coil springs. They didnt say i had to order them seperatley, like shocks.

you need to get on the phone with them right now and raise absolute hell.....there's frickin coil springs in the picture.

why the hell would they not include them? that makes no sense

I would call Tuff Country yourself and verify that they do or don't include coil springs anymore. That way you know first hand.

I would have a set in about 2 weeks but I would raise hell with them first and go from there

All they said was that it would take 100 bucks to ship it back. And The one from suspension connection is the same thing. It wont come with coil springs.

What did you pay for this Tuff Country kit with shipping (aka grand total so far)? Did you get a pitman arm and shocks or no?

The grand total for the kit, without shocks or pittman arm, just add a leafs and bracketry was 550 with shipping. i had no idea it wouldnt come with coils...
