I'm looking to get some rims from a guy that came off a 97 jeep wrangler. they are 15 x 7 with 4.5 spacing. He wrote me back and said that rangers have a weird spacing that is just a little different than the 4.5(he said it was 114 mm or something). Can anyone tell me what exactly the spacing is on a 97 ranger 2WD. The tech library lists it as 4.5 for the ranger. also, does anyone know if the backspacing is a problem with jeep rims? thanks. :dunno:

114mm converts to 4.49 inches. You do find out if your 97 has hub-centric wheels and if it is, the Wrangler wheels must also be hub-centric.
