i have a 83 ranger 4x4. with a 2.8. manual trans.all the elctrical was cut and chewed up in it,also cab was rotted. so i found a 85 ranger,auto,2wd for parts.all the electrical in it works great, if i dont do a 4.0 swap, ill run use the 2.8 from this , cuz the 83's 2.8 was junk.
when u put the truck in reverse,the reverse lights lite up ,also when in gear it goes out. normal. i havent thought of how this will work, but sice im using a cab that has a electrical system that came from a auto 2wd truck, will that affect anything, is the plug that went in to the auto trans going to work with the manual trans?
what im asking is, will this affect anything? can i use a manual trans with a automatic rangers wirirng harness??
