To replace the bushings on the frame side of the radius arm, do l have to remove it completely from the truck,
.... or can l drop the bolted in superlift brackets and replace it?

l assume the reason the manual says to completely remove it is because the stock carrier is riveted in. But with it being bolted in, it would be a lot easier to drop the bracket and replace it? Any thoughts?

l just want to make sure if l drop the bracket, l will be able to line everything back up...:icon_confused:

i would drop the bracket and replace it

Any expereince with it? lt makes sense in my head as well, l am just scared l will drop it and end up having to go the route of taking everything apart:dunno:

Anyone know the size or where to get new bushings? l think l want to try the polyurethane ones this time...

Like Downey said, you already have bolts in the brackets. The stealership will have the rubber replacement bushings. I just did mine not too long ago but I used aftermarket poly bushings, I believe I read here somewhere that the rubber ones will flex slightly better than poly ones. In my particular case I believe the rubber ones looked like they fit better than the new ones, not sure why though? maybe a crappy brand.

Go rubber the polys will not flex as well and they will break!
