I bought a 2003 ranger fx4 level II that had the firestone over load airbags and didn't air em up proper before hauling dirt and got holes in both of them. The replacement bags will run $80 per side. Any one have any alternative ideas like add a leaf type things or others? I may just replace the air bags but dont really like having to air em up. I took out the popped bags and bottom out way to easily and I havent even hauled my usual two MX bikes yet so I feel like I need something.

Any help would be appreciated.

unsure where your located at ,but see what a semi truck manufacturer has to offer, I used to work building Kenworths & they used small firestone air bag for the sleeper suspension air ride. They are about the same as the Air RIDE bags & may even be cheaper from a dealer parts store

You might look into an Airlift Aircell Kit. It's basically a large urethane bump stop. I have a set that I'm going to use as bump stops for my truck if I ever get around to installing them.
