My old ashtray wasn't staying in its track and the power outlet was broken inside with burnt metal parts and it didn't work. I stole the power outlet from my lawn tractor, cut a plastic part to fit the dash hole (it came from my Polaris RZR old winch cover plate), and drilled a hole for it to fit the outlet. Looks OK for now and best of all...It friggin' works! I can at least charge my cell phone now.

Proving once again that necessity is the mother of invention, well done.
