The ford oval is now black instead of blue, and I repainted the honeycomb gloss black again.

how did you make it black. i want to do it to mine. does it peel off the chrome part with heat? i thought mine was a solid piece that had little nipples that went though the grille.

Was it hard to paint the honeycomb?

I have been debating about doing that on my F-150, it is starting fade kind of weird.

its a 3 step process:

1. go to local hard ware store

2. buy can of spray paint in color choice

3. remove grill from vehicle and paint

Remove grill, soak in hot soapy water, rinse and clean with a grease remover, I used Krylon Fusion Gloss Black for paint, reinstall grill.
