Ok so, here it is. In your RANGER, what have you beat off a light, or some sort of stop.

Me- yesterday a dude and his buddy rolled up next to me in his civic, they heard me hammerin on it coming out of burgerking. So were at the light, and hetries to shoot off, he made it probly half way through the intersection before i mashed it, i passed his ass in first gear. We roll up to the next light, i rolldown my window and said, hey sorry i didnt go faster, i didnt wanna spill my pop, held up my medium doctor peper, n smoked him again!

My favoriote though was when i was doing a rolling punch race with a superduty who had his turbo cranked and the superchips sticker on the window. Rolled up revved and launched a lil, after that it was on, we left space enough to race, id be rolling in third and just drop it into second and watch him drop back.

well in my BRONCO II,
i used to do stuff like that a lot...the 4.0 is great..
mostly wanna be import racer guys in their mostly stock import w/ coffee can exhaust.

Iv beat alot of people in my Ranger, my F350 Powerstroke, and my brothers Nissan 350z Twin Turbo. The best was a little rice rocket trying to race me in my brothers car, he kept revving at me and what not, and from Reno to Carson There is a valley called Washoe and its a pure straight away, I did 188mph he stopped at around 150 mph.

not that any of this is legal... but i've stomped a bunch of hondas and a couple scions in my younger days. literally always ends with them turning off at the next intersection to avoid the shame.

broke both my motor mounts though, with a 2.3l lolz

truck doesn't seem to have as much power as it used to, this engine only has a little bit of life left in it before i replace it

Beat a new new body style GMC sierra off the line with just an exhaust and K&N. Also beat a Nissan Xterra in a race, he shifted about twice as often as I did and dropped back on every one.

BTW a 3.0 ranger with magnaflow and K&N with stock 4.10s is the exact same speed in atraight line as a baseline mini.

in my falcon that looks like a beater, primer and faded white paint with a choke up 2" pipe running all the way and a built 302 hiding under the hood its a common thing to smoke a civic before im out of 2nd gear. the look one their faces when the dump outs come open is my favorite though

Best I ever saw, my buddy roasted a porsche in a yukon. It was rainy, and up a hill.. My buddy tossed it into 4wd and took off while the porsche just spun his wheels lol

Actually funniest one ever was smoking a modded prelude in a Trailblazer SS. the trailblazer was totally debadged... he never saw the 6.0 coming lol...

I'm not even going to get started with my street racing days. Thats for another thread. Any way my 86 ranger was quick off the line, I liked to be sitting at a light on a four lane road and will see a car coming up behind me they know the light is getting ready to turn green so they move into the other lane to get by me with out needing to stop. When the light turns green and I could get up to their speed and pull away from them before they get a chance to pass me and then the move back behind me. Done that many times. I always like when some kid pulls up beside me and revs wanting to race, I'm like please, I was street racing when you was in elementry school have been wanted in three countys at one time, have been to jail three times have had my car imponded twice, had my license suspended for 8 years have had to pay 14,000+ dollars in fines and court cost and have a longer record than you have ever used in tiolet paper and have driven in the triple digits more times than you can count. Take your moms car home and curl in a ball and cry grass hopper.

I loved the day I smoked the kid in his mom's mustang GT. He thought he was hot sh** in the yellow convertible with the racing stripes. We lined up next to each other where the speed limit increases, and we were even from the dig(started around 40 mph) the road was about 1.25 miles of sweeping curves, then a right turn onto a .5 mile straight. we were doing around 95 through the curves wheel to wheel, I let him get in front of me at the turn, then blew by him doing 105-106 when he got out of the gas like a little girl. his face was priceless!

I was in my 2010 Rogue yesterday and smart ass boy in a sharp looking new 2011 ranger pulled up next to me in the right turn lane only area. I knew what he was planning on doing....he was trying to go straight across the intersection instead of going right as he was supposed do to. People do this a lot at this intersection...they want to get ahead of the long traffic line there. They zoom ahead and cut people off so they don't have to be 30 cars back. I knew he was going to do this since he did not turn right. People behind him were honking their horns because they needed to turn right. So...when the light turned green I shot forward like a rocket ship and stupid boy in the Ranger was left way behind. The guy behind me took off and then the guy behind that guy did the same....Ranger boy was forced to stop in the middle of the intersection and had to wait for a time to cut over.....stupid Dumb F**K.

Sounds like two of the instersections - NOT EVEN A BLOCK APART - here in Hutchinson. It's four lanes up to the light, but the one on the left runs into a right turn lane after the light (on one instersection) or merges left (other intersection) and people do this shit all the time. Oddly, enough, it's usually GM's that try to pull this shit, so I'm guessing they see the "Ford" logo on my truck and something snaps, since it never seems to happen driving the Passat...

I can hold well enough up to about 30, but the little 3.0 runs out of steam after that...

I'm not going to get started on all that. I've grown up a good bit and getting nailed by a cop for street racing (yes, you can get tagged with that even just jumping on it off a light if the cop wants to). My work involves a good bit of driving and I can't afford to get pinched for doing something stupid.

Back when I was young and dumb I used to enjoy smoking rich kids with riced out civics and the like though.

And I did have some jerk in a 2500 extended cab z-71 chebby want to race off a light a long while ago - he had an empty bed and I was in the '89 F-350 dually dump with a slightly bored 460. I had him door to door into third gear. At the next light he was laughing and pointing and I was tempted to ruin his fun and inform him that I had 3 tons of dirt in the bed hidden from sight by the side boards.... lulz.
