i save all my used oil and attf and once a year we have a huge ass bond fire last year we had a flame over the powerlines and the fire department got pissed but man it was huge .... just make sure NOT to put pork & beans in the fire... when the fire department checks the fire they explode all over them

i throw it in with my oil and bring it to the zone i nver even asked just went and dumped it in hte tank . i use to own a diesel and they told you to put a quart of atf in the fuel tank now and again ...

i use all my used oil for fires, great for burning out stumps too, just keep pouring it in to the burning stump, when it all cools down and is burnt out, fill the divot with dirt and level out.

ATF can be run in any diesel engine that does not use a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), incuding powerstrokes, IDI's (pre 95 7.3L), tractors and lawn equipment with diesel engines. As long as it is filtered, it is just like bio diesel, and it lubricates the injector pump and injectors. I run it in mine all the time, no problem running that in my 92 dually or my dad's 97 dually

I realize that, I just would not use dirty oil in a newer diesel..... unless you can filter it down to 1 micron.

Thats a good idea, but finding a 1 micron filter can be fun. I magnet filter my ATF to get the big stuff and metal shavings out, then pour it in...anything large enough to do harm (providing my pre-filtering doesn't catch it) the truck's fuel filter will grab, but 1 micron would be a better filter system
