Does any one know of a place in so cal that I can take my old wheels to. I'm got stock wheels, just wondering how much I can get for recycling them.

I kinda want to lift my truck now, now that I've got the money. I just want to keep expenses as low as possible.

Heres the question, spend more money getting the 2.5 fabtech kit or just the spindle kit. I've got an 02 regular ranger. I'm chasing the look and feel more so than performance, but when I am offroading, I don't really want to worry about whether or not shit is going to break. How much more durrable is the Fabtech performance kit thing over just going with the spindles. Will I get more travel with the new springs and control arms? How much stronger too???

what would you do?

you wont get very much for just a set of wheels.....

What part of so cal? I know of a few place's in san diego that take "scrap" but your not going to get very much.

the fabtech stuff is fine for a daily driver or time to time dirt road palying.
the uppper arm is strong enuff to rip the mounts off the frame.
your still going to have ball joints so you will need to limit the travel before they bind in both droop and bump.

the spindel is decent also.

look over on dezertrangers.com you can find alot more info on these kits, "dezbombin" belvie thats his name has beat the snot of of one of these kits back in the day.and know the ins and outs of the kit. so may want to contact him.

If they are aluminum you could probably get $200/set on craigslist.

Steel in nice shape maybe $100, either way a lot more than a scrapper would give you.

Last week I dropped 600# off and got $66.00 for it at Kroots in Columbus, Indiana. It's come up $1 per hundred since spring.
