Rear wall speakers - custom location

Anybody ever cut holes in the sidewalls beside the seat in a standard cab truck? Curious to know what sizes will fit and how deep you can go. Looks like a hole saw could make quick work of a new speaker location.

I have 6.5's in the factory "premium" speaker boxes. I haven't got them put in yet but they are in the boxes ready to go.

I had to remove the stock grilles and enlarge the holes but they look really sharp.
