Rear shocks for B4000

Would there be any reason that a rear shock that works on the Ranger would NOT work on my B4000? I'm interested in the KYB MonoMax shocks for the rear. Model 565063 will fit a 4x4 Ranger from 1989-2011 but they don't cross list the B-series for some reason. I've run into that before where the parts manufacturer either ignores or doesn't realize the B is a twin of the Ranger but I'd hate to get everything apart and find it doesn't work for some reason.

I ended up going with the Gabriel Max Control because they were in stock near my house and cheaper than the MonoMax. The Gabriel fit just fine even though it also doesn't list the B4000 4x4 as compatible.
