Yep, thanks for your response And HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
I just did the RMS on my 2.9 when I had the A4LD out for a rebuild. You really need to use the proper seal installation tool. Tapping it in 'evenly' by eye rarely if ever gets it in properly, and it can damage the seal.
