Ravo's Ranger

little update today. i'm getting closer to turning the key. i put brand new oil in it. got the power steering pump mounted up. got part of the exhaust hung. i need to wait for another set of hands to finish torquing down the y pipe then i can hang the rest. need to get the air box mounted, hook up the coolant and vroom!:icon_bounceblue:. only a few more days......

soon. i'm picking them up next sunday. the wheels are from a tj. i think i read somewhere that the hole is too small for my hubs though? is that true?

From my experience, they are way too small. As in, the ones I got for free were a little over an inch in diameter. Hope you didn't get them yet...

Idk. It looks chrome to me. I don't think you can get aluminum that smooth and mirrored without chrome

It's a polished aluminum factory intake... Took me 9 hours to sand and polish... You got the truck lookin good so far....

thanks multi!

as for the wheels no i haven't got them yet but i still want them. its a really good deal. even if i have to pay 200 bucks to get them bored out i'm still saving a lot of money

my last needed piece to make my 4x4 work again. yay

my dad surprised me today. when i got home from work he hooked up my coolant system and got a little work done on the cat. we just need to get the three bolts on the front punched out.

now its just air box, 4x4, inner fender, exhaust. thats it. well.... and fix my front fender flare but w/e. then i'm good to go :P

in death there is life

the squeal is from the ac compressor. that has been taken care of. the clacking is from an injector. gonna put injector cleaner in and see if that helps. almost sounds like a diesel. i'll take another video once all noise has gone away. also i need to finish hooking up the tail pipe.

i'm uber excited:yahoo::yahoo::icon_bounceblue: :icon_bounceblue::yahoo::yahoo:

now all thats left to do is finish the 4x4 and bleed the brakes. then i'm good to go

i'm working 25 hours a week with high school so i don't have a lot of time. butt speaking of 4x4. can you change the u joint closest to the dif without taking the shaft out. i would really like to not have to take it all apart. there just isnt a lot of room

so i went up to mass and picked up my new wheels and tires. wheels look like the centerbore should be big enough. they just need to be polished and i will get them on. tires are in great shape. plenty of tread left. for $200 i made out great.
