man i love this truck! I'm getting a 97 4.0 5 speed 4x4 ext cab just like yours for 400 bucks from a friend, just needs a windsheild and some work here and there

wow. long time since i've been on here guys. not much on updates. but just put on some 33x10.5's. i need to shift my bumper forward a bit because it just barely rubs when turning on the right side. shouldnt be an issue. like always was the plan a 4" lift will be coming in the spring probably. i definitely need some 4.10's though.
SO if anyone knows anyone selling a set (front, back, or both) it would be greatly appreciated.
i finally got my 1400w amp and new speakers put in. got a 10" sub for free so i plan on building a false floor with a sub box built in underneath. lets just say its loud and i have some rattles i never knew i had
i did a lot of body work so i'll be finally spraying the truck in the spring as well.
i'm considering having the motor rebuilt or buying one with less miles seeing that mine has over 200,000. if i go that route i'm gonna throw in a comp cam 410 series for more torque and mpg.

bodywork

new tires

fixed any rust and holes in the floor and ran 10g wire

ended up finding a hole in the cab corner. new one will be put in before i paint

completely powerwashed and cleaned my caret. i forgot to clean the little floor mat carpets. there was a huge difference

im going to try and pull the bumper forward more if i can to eliminate that

sadly this truck has been sold. i blew the head gasket 2 winters ago now and after the rebuild it had this weird intermittent skip. didnt burn coolant or oil (well anymore than usual) so pretty sure the seal was good. anyway. it kept getting progressively worse as last year went by. come november i was browsing craigslist and found a replacement. registered it on the 16th for my birthday and away i went!

03 Ranger 4x4 4.0L with a 5 speed. same truck just 10 years newer and 100000K less at 104K. talked them down to 7250





R.I.P. Maggie.... you were a great first truck and a great friend...... but hell, $1000 for a truck with 210k and a blown motor im glad you're gone
