and btw, i just happen to have an original impala 409 laying in my yard. that would be a cool engine in a ranger. im doing it..

Hey, how much are the Explorer spring mounts? Also, why are you moving the springs under the frame?

Not a Chebbie fan, but any big block in a Ranger... Cool beans brother...

Ding ding ding..........give that boy a sucker!

more room for tires is my guess

You can fit 275/60's in the wheel wells using deeper backspaced wheels.

How much for the Exploder mounts? Dealer item? Nice idea!!!!

I'm moving springs under the frame on my Ranger for a different reason, more flex and lift...

atleast your hiding the chevy part with the hood .. when do i get to come by and take your other ranger for a spin haha

Yes, mine are dealer items, but I believe they are now obsolete through Ford, you would just have to check...........

My springs are gonna be located at the same points, just moved under the frame, so unless your usin some higher arched springs, I don't see any lift advantage:icon_confused:..........

Don't suppose you have a part number? I'm using Tundra springs. THey certainly have an arch to them, and I can get rid of blocks. By using a shackle mounted under the frame gives me some lift too. But I wanted the springs closer together to allow more travel at the wheels... At least, thats the current plan...
