I need a little help. My 95 ranger will overheat when I turn on the ac. I have already replaced the thermostat, removed cleaned and verified flow of the radiator. Verified the heater core is flowing and working. Changed out the fan clutch. Not sure what else to check.

are you positive your AC clutch isn't seized? Do your RPM's drop a decent amount when you turn the AC on?

Yeah, i just changed it out. I change it out because i was getting up to an operating temperature no matter how long i drove. The only time it got to temperature was if i turned on the ac. Also the speed of the fan didn't change when the car was warm (by hand)

I'd put a new thermostat in it.

Also an Exploder radiator will help too.

that's how I fixed mine when it had that issue. (when it had A/C)

I'd say it's a clogged radiator but I don't understand why the AC is causing your engine to heat up so much... you might not have enough AC oil in your system... it's possible you had yourself a leak??

so I'm thinking there is something else mechanically wrong with the truck.... most likely the AC system... take it to get checked out.
