Thought this would be a good topic to read and write about.. What Is some of the craziest things you have done or encountered in or with you ranger maybe things you hit,hauled,jumped,broken. Some crazy moments, surprising moments. Anything exciting ..lets hear about it

i stopped 6 inches on a icy snow covered hill b4 i went over a 60 foot drop. my buddy had the door open and ready to jump and i was going to go for a ride. but we stopped and it took us 2 hours with a couple chains and come a long to drag my truck accross the road so i could turn around and drive it down the hill

I was out driving in the snow one day, probably plowing it with the front valence, when I passed a PennDOT plow truck stuck on the side of the road. Probably shouldn't have been out driving, but hey, gotta learn to drive in snow sometime, right?

i have had a few special moments in my truck. the first one happened last spring i was running a buddy home after a fire call. after dropping him off i went to take the shortcut to the highway, but it was blocked so i took the loop through the woods instead of turning around. so i am going down this trail and its getting softer and softer the farther you go. i make it half way through till i get to a slight up hill, this hill was muckier then anything before, so i attempt to make it up the hill, with no luck. so i back up try again, still no luck. so i decide to back up to turn around not far from where i was. but i got snagged up on a chunk of ice in the previous puddle, it was holding my rear tires up. so i had to call my dad to get me out i meet up with him at the end of the trail. he was surprised how far i got considering my truck was 2 wheel drive. he hooked to me and pulled me off the ice with no problem. i got turned around and went home. i was some glad i got out of there. it was defiantly my first ever experience with my truck, and i am sure i will never forget this

I was using my ranger as a anchor for cutting this tree down because i didn't want the tree hitting my neighbors house... Well the tree was really tall and when we cut the tree it started pulling my ranger backs words ... I lock the truck into 4wd and jammed on the gas and then the tree and the truck where in a tug of war ..Which was not cool but that god i won because paying to fix my neighbors house would suck..

Me and my friends were taking a trail through this swamp, which really isnt that bad, minus these knee deep ruts that run through most of the trail. So, I had to straddle them, well, during this really muddy part my drivers side tire slid into the rut I was straddling, and my back tire followed. My truck was leaning on its door in the mud(i would have rolled if the mud hadnt been there, lol.) Anyways, i just put 'er in 4low, and just crawled on through the rut and outta there all my buddies couldnt believe it, and well, i really couldnt either.

It showed me how tough these little trucks are, and, to bring a camera next time

well i got 2 stories. first one isnt off road related... actually probably not suitable for the site so i will leave out details. but it was something that happened while driving down the freeway.... and the second i got my truck buried to the point the body was sitting on the ground. no truck could pull it out. only a bulldozer could get it out which got me a nice ticket and a year of probation.....good times good times. i love my ranger and its only going to get more crazy as the projects get done on it

i have a single cab ranger too. not a whole lots of room between the wheel and the seat hahahaha and its a 5spd. and there was some non freeway driving. i think that is the limit for details

I almost made my one buddy (who has been on the wrong end of an Army live fire exercise) almost piss himself and reach his to-date highest certainty that he was going to die by drifting the ranger around a 90* corner off the top of a highway off ramp once.

30 MPH, wheel cut the whole way over, 2nd gear, dump the clutch and drop the hammer, that rear end kicks out awful purdy and smooth, nice loud squeal, just enough to scare the piss outta those "tough army guys".

nice. i do the same sh*t to my friends all the time in any car/truck i drive. i have trained past gfs to not flinch bc i did it so much lol

I made one cry from fear of death just by going 35 through a set of S-curves with the yellow signs saying to only go 25. I broke up with her two weeks later.
